Between a Rock and a Beardy Face!
Someone told me that this was a real headline in the Sun recently, in reference to Branson's buying-up of Northern Rock. Is that true, did anyone else see it? Anyway that's enough of that beardy twit.
Just to let all you kids know that we've been rather busy lately, we've been rehearsing new stuff and even had a little visitor in the studio with us last week to help. It's all starting to come together a bit more now. Exciting - well, I'm excited.
We also played in Glasgow recently to a great crowd, great bunch of lads! My Granny came and everything! My auntie took her but I think they were far more excited to see wee Pat Nevin wandering around pressing the flesh than their own up their slogging his guts off. Ah well, grannies are a bit like cats aren't they, nothing really impresses them that much anyway. Och! She loved it, or so she said. We even played a new song, and a really old one, although I have to admit that the new one was more fun for me to play, especially with my new wee drum kit that looks like a toddler should be bashing away at it. I suppose it makes me look like I've got a great big hulking frame, having a tiny drum kit that is, not a toddler.
Basically I just wanted to assure anybody vaguely interested that we are keeping busy and we'll be joining you soon.
Anyone heard of the Lava Children? I chanced upon them on one of my extensive Myspace mess arounds and really liked their stuff. Anyone ever seen them?
Over and out.

Wow, I'm picturing my own granny at the ABC, under that glitterball...oh my!
I have never seen Lava Children, but their songs make me feel like I'm in a sad psychedelic world of dark forests and strange looking creatures.
